Memories Don't Die is his second studio album, released March 2, 2018 on Mad Love and Interscope. It runs 70 minutes across 18 tracks and was recorded in Miami, Los Angeles, New York and Vancouver, and partly on a tour bus.
The roll-out was slow and public. In June 2017 he said it was "90% done", on August 2, 2017 he announced it was finished, and the title was revealed on October 5, 2017. The cover art and tracklist followed on February 9, 2018, the same day he released three tracks that did not make the album: "March 2nd", "More Than Friends" and "Leaning" (the last two with PartyNextDoor).
Producers included OG Parker, Smash David, Play Picasso, AraabMuzik and Cashmere Cat, with guests Future, Nav, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa and Fabolous. "Shooters" arrived on September 22, 2017, "Skrt Skrt" a week later, and "Real Thing" with Future on October 13. The album debuted at No. 1 in Canada, his first chart-topper there, and at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 54,000 units.
